Biographical sketch:

Mengdie (Mandy) Wang is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Molecular, Cell and Cancer Biology at UMass Chan Medical School. She received her B.S. in Biology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. She completed her Ph.D training in Cancer Biology at the University of Arizona Cancer Biology Graduate Interdisciplinary Program under the guidance of Drs. Greg Rogers and Anne Cress at the University of Arizona Cancer Center.

Her current research interests include (1) to investigate VEGF/Neuropillin (NRP) signaling- mediated tumor immune evasion and (2) to investigate β4 integrin in cancer metastasis.

On her spare time, she enjoys taking her dog Timmy out for jogging and hiking, and rock climbing with her friends.
