Emmet Karner

Biographical sketch:

Emmet Karner is an alumni of UMass Chan Medical School, Morningside Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences from the Mercurio lab. He received his B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UMass Amherst in 2017, where he held positions in the UMass Concert Band as flute section leader.

He is currently an on-site collaborator with the lab, where his experience in cancer biology and bioinformatics remain an invaluable resource.

In his free time, he enjoys playing music, particularly guitar, piano, and flute.
